Don’t get too close, a facehugger might jump out of it and latch onto you.

I believe Facehugger is not capable to fit in there. He does like dark places though.
It’s an interesting pic. Good to have you back, 3 months of non-posting period. Ccc

It looks like an egg with design on the sides…. and artificial. Probably it is a ancient sculpture.

The ancient tortoise shells discovery seems to be a great achievement in the field of archaeology. I think this would help in solving great mysteries of the ancient times.

After looking at the picture first I thought that it is an ancient battle field. After reading the subtitle I am amazed and shocked. I really like to visit a museum but don’t get time.

This is an interesting artifact — I think what even makes it more interesting is the fact that it survived all these years and is still in decent condition.

Thats really fantastic. I guess that it must be really ancient for it to change into this color. Really nice photo and seeing this makes me want to touch it. Cheers!

Definitely a cool picture, especially since I didn’t know the tortoise shell left anything behind.

That is a great photo! I think I saw some shells like this in a museum once. I think it’s so interesting how life ends and the remains are still elegant and intriguing. Such a mystery!
