An ancient tortoise shell I saw in a small museum outside of Charlotte, NC.

    I believe Facehugger is not capable to fit in there. He does like dark places though.

    are those holes on the side of the shell? it looks weird.. couldnt imagine a tortoise with little ‘windows’ walkin/swimming around. nice pic

    This tortoise shell is really looking ancient. I don’t know how this exists till now, but after watching it I am really getting crazy to break it off.

    The ancient tortoise shells discovery seems to be a great achievement in the field of archaeology. I think this would help in solving great mysteries of the ancient times.

    After looking at the picture first I thought that it is an ancient battle field. After reading the subtitle I am amazed and shocked. I really like to visit a museum but don’t get time.

    This is an interesting artifact — I think what even makes it more interesting is the fact that it survived all these years and is still in decent condition.
