Blog It and Earn It - May 8, 2007
Welcome to the May 8, 2007 edition of Blog It and Earn It.
Let me start by saying thanks to Jane for letting me host the “Blog It and Earn It†blog carnival, I have really enjoyed it. This has been a really great week for the carnival. There were thirteen submissions in all and I couldn’t believe the diversity of the entries. I really hope each and every one of you who read this post will take the time to visit these authors and if nothing else leave a comment. Blog Carnivals are a great way for bloggers to get exposure and I would love to see even more submissions next week.
Speaking of next week, Jane has agreed to let me host again! YES! So get those submissions going!
Now on to the submissions!
Effective Blogging
Wanda Grindstaff from Creating Abundant Lifestyles submitted Prosperity and Abundance is Your Birthright - Living with Intent saying, “Do not buy into the myth that wealth is not for everyone.”
I have to say this was a really great post and I am in awe of Wanda having time to post to all those blog carnivals! I will definitely be spending sometime reading her site. Thanks for the submission Wanda. Per her site†“I deserve to be prosperous and abundant in every area of my life”.†So true!
Susan Velez from The Secret To Life submitted What Do You Really Want?.
Susan’s post was about “The Secret†and how it has helped and continues to help her in her everyday life. While I haven’t read the book or listened to the CD, I have heard great reviews and it is on my list.. one day ☺
Courtney Tuttle from Court’s Internet Marketing / Personal Development, submitted 5,263 Words On Starting A Profitable Blog saying, “This article helps people to learn about making money through blogging.”
There is so much I want to say about this blog but I will save it for a review. Until then let me just say “You Need To Read This Post!â€. New bloggers, old bloggers, A to Z listers, it doesn’t matter. Everyone will find at least one thing worthwhile in this post and more than likely way more than that! So what are you waiting for? Click over but don’t forget to come back and read the rest of the submissions.
Stephanie Foster from Aspects of Home Business Blog submitted Great WordPress Possibilities saying, “Setting up your WordPress blog the right way is one of the key ways to make it user and search engine friendly.”
Stephanie has an excellent article for those just getting started with WordPress or those who want to make their blog a bit more SEO friendly.
Lee Coppin from YouCanMakeMoney Online submitted Building Traffic part 1
Lee’s article details the many steps he has taken and plans to take to make his blog a traffic magnet. Take a look I bet you will find one or two new ideas at least.
Robinson Go from Robinson Go dot Com submitted What is a blog? saying “I offer a free blogging course so that you can excel in blogging.”
Robinson has written a nice post aimed at those who might be on the fence about starting a blog or those looking to improve the blog they have. Take a look for some no nonsense practical advice.
PhilosopherVet from Ambitiously Inquisitive submitted Webhosting #1 Series Starting A Money Making Blog Website -Web Hosting.
PhilosopherVet has the start of what appears to be a nice series on setting up a moneymaking blog or website, something I am sure many of us are interested in learning more about.
Matt OConnor from Adventures In Internet Marketing submitted You’ve Got To Have Passion!.
Matt I couldn’t agree more. You have to have passion about your subject and be willing to invest the time and effort it takes to make your blog and life better.
Moses E. Miles III from Three Sticks submitted 5 Free Tools to Track the Success of Your Blog.
Moses really nice list of tools and I love your first line “The success of your blog or website is determined entirely by your readership.†I highly recommend reading this post. Great post thanks!
Monetizing Your Blog
Joseph from Make Money Blogging submitted Irrelevant ads or PSAs
Joseph offers some words of advice on dealing with Public Service Ads from Google Adsense.
Kiltak from [Geeks Are Sexy] Technology News submitted Turning your Blog into a Money Making Machine: A Simple Guide
First of Kiltak I agree, Geeks are Sexy! Another really great article for everyone from those thinking about becoming a blogger to those who have been blogging for years. I am adding you to my RSS feed if for no other reason than your domain name, just kidding your blog is great.
Lee Coppin from YouCanMakeMoney Online submitted Many little steps make the journey easier Or a few dollars at a time.
Lee great advice, lots of smaller steps make the journey easier.
Problogging Facts and Fiction
Ybother from A Top Ten List Everyday to Jumpstart Your Knowledge submitted 10 Things I Learnt From Blogging posted at saying, “Is Blogging for You? Read on the Experience of This Blogger to Find Out”
Ybother may be the last of the submissions for this edition but it is far from the bottom of the pile. I whole heartily agree with the 10 things listed on this site. Great post and a really nice end to the edition.
Wait that is the end? Unfortunately yes but don’t worry. Next week will bring another edition of the Blog It and Earn It blog carnival. So keep checking the BlogItAndEarnIt.Com website for more updates or the Blog It and Earn It page at BlogCarnival and get those submissions in!

Great Carnival Susan,
Inspiring and Motivational. I loved your comment about my posting to Carnivals. I live on the beach… therefore it is easy to tell when the weather is ugly… Ugly weather, lots of posting.. good weather you do not hear from me at all ’cause I am on the beach!
Make it a fabulous day!
