Life is about change. It is about growth, failure and success. It is about understanding that you don’t have to settle. It is about taking that chance even when every fiber in your being except one is screaming for to stay the course. Life Is Risky is about listening to that one part of you that says “Yes”. It is about looking at your life and deciding if you aren’t where you want to be, what do you need to do to get there, then taking that first big step. It is about turning a deaf ear to those who say you are too young, too old, too set in your ways, too slow, ad nauseam.  It is about learning that new word every day, or turning left when you have always turned right. It is about new beginnings and long time endings. It is about realizing that you deserve to be happy and doing what makes you happy.

I have started and ended many blogs. Changed them time and time again looking for that one thing that I could really hold onto. See I love the idea of blogging I just never found the thing I loved blogging about. Well now I have. I am past the point of making a blog that will pull in hundreds of readers and rocket up the ladder. Been there done that type of thing. Now I want a blog that changes as I change. That goes in the face of all the conventional wisdom that says you should find a niche and stick to it. Well my niche is … whatever catches my attention that day. I see tons of things I want to try, want to learn. This blog going forward is going to reflect that so if you came here looking for a certain article and can’t find it, don’t despair. Click on a link and explore instead. There will be lots of different things of interest, at least to me, and really isn’t that the purpose of a blog to cater to my desires, to make itself into what I want it to be? I’m not going to be the next super blogger, which is fine. I am going to be the next happy blogger. The information here will change. It will move it will look different it will be different. Just enjoy it.
